Elections bring out the best (and worst) of people.
Standing, waiting in line to vote you see..
The impatient voter, obviously with something very important they have to do next. Looking around, mumbling and grumbling to anyone that will listen (or not)
The access voter who can’t wait in line with everyone else. The seat in their wheelchair is so uncomfortable they are pushed past standing voters.
The “non-English speaking” voter that takes forever. Handing over my driver’s license was seen as gold.
The voter who looks like they only leave the house once every four years.
The loud voter that knows everyone.
The young voter voting for the first time.. whatever!
The neighbour that doesn’t know whether to say hello or not and pretends not to see you even when they are right in front of you.
The Greek voter who tells everyone that democracy and elections came from Greece.
The quiet knowing older voter who has voted many times and happily waits in line.
Have I missed any?
